HIGH WIND & RED FLAG WARNINGS TODAY.  North winds gusting 60-70 mph, elevated fire danger and blowing dust behind a strong-low pressure system moving through the Midwest Mississippi Valley and Eastern U.S.    Cooler temperatures highs in the upper 30’s and low 40’s and lows around 20.   Over the weekend northwest flow set-up over the area temperatures warm a bit into the mid 40’s and lows 20-25-degrees.    A second system tracks from the northwest US Canadian border Sunday through the northern Plains on Monday keeping winds blowing, temperatures cooler and around or slightly above average values and dry with elevated fire danger conditions.   Monday night early Tuesday might see some light snow flurries as system exits, but really looks dry.
