TODAY will seem more Fall like for the last day of summer and first day of Fall, as the upper-level trough lifts northeast and is replaced by high pressure from the northwest. This will lead to highs in the low 70’s and lows in the low 40’s today and around 80 and in the upper 40’s tomorrow. Winds will be from the northwest today turning southwest overnight and to the south tomorrow at 10-20 mph.  Thursday upper-level ridging will result in warmer temperatures and continued dryness.    Friday another trough and dry cold front move through keeping seasonal temperatures in check to end the week.  Over the weekend ridging will warm daytime temps back into the 80’s to around 90 and keep conditions dry with some elevate fire danger conditions west of highway 83.
