This morning and today storm chances east of US Highway 83 as upper-level trough slowly pulls away from the area.  High-pressure and ridging develops ahead of a trough entering NW US tonight and tomorrow, while Wednesday remains warm and dry.  Today through Wednesday daytime highs will be in the low 90’s and lows in the 60-65-degree range with south winds 10-20 mph.  Thursday and Friday the upper-level trough either cuts-off and meandering through Nebraska and the Dakotas or it moves through in waves, with chances for scattered showers and storms and cooler temperatures with highs in the 80’s and lows in the 50’s.
