Warm, Muggy w/Scattered Evening Storm Chances Through the Weekend; Next Week Looks Dry; A Bit Cooler Mon/Tue Then Becoming Hot & Humid
Jul 16th, 2021
Today and through the weekend disturbances moving through the northwest flow over the ridge out west will produce scattered showers and isolated storms in the late afternoons and evenings. Storms this evening have the potential to be severe with locally heavy rains. Over the weekend activity may be more scattered and isolated with hit and miss severe weather. Starting next week, Monday and Tuesday high-pressure amplifies out west blocking any mechanisms to produce showers or storms, while southeast surface flow keeps summer warmth and humidity in place. Temperatures will be seasonal with highs in the upper 80’s and low 90’s and lows 60-65-degrees.
