Today a low-pressure system moves down the Missouri River basin that will bring a weak cool front and stiff+ north winds through the Tri-state area.  Upper-level trough moves off to the east and confluent upper-level flow over the Central U.S. will result in a quiet weather pattern with mild temperatures in the upper 40’s and 50’s and dryness Wednesday and Thursday.  Next trough and southern stream disturbance will pass to the south on Friday with colder temperatures and some light rain and snow chances beginning Friday night and continue through the weekend.
