HIGH WIND WARNING AFTER MIDNIGHT AND TOMORROW THEN A WATCH THURSDAY NIGHT THOUGH FRIDAY. Temperatures will warm into the 60’s and be a generally quiet day ahead of an approaching trough and cold front tonight and tomorrow. Clouds and winds will be on the increase and gusts up to 50 mph are possible during the early morning hours through the afternoon tomorrow. Thursday and Friday and upper-level trough will approach from the northwest and the main low pressure with remain north of the area along the Canadian border, thus gusty northwest winds blow over the Tri-state area with a dry cool front moving through and dropping temperatures into the low to mid 40’s. A weak short-wave and trough moves through in northwesterly flow keeping temperatures in which with no moisture to produce any precipitation.
