Today and tomorrow the area will be under northwest or westerly flow with disturbances moving over the ridge out west into eastern Plains Colorado during the afternoons and reaching KS/CO/NE borders in evenings with scattered showers and storms. Today they likely remain west of the border and tomorrow better chances across much of the Tri-state area.  Over the weekend, the ridge begins to rebuild and amplify out west putting the area under northwest flow and continuing some chances for the evening showers and storms but becoming more scattered and isolated.  Daytime temperatures will be in the 80’s today and tomorrow and low 90’s over the weekend.  Next week high-pressure over the area results in warm, humid and dry conditions.
